Food scraps convert

The food scraps bin is a favourite in my household. I was a definite sceptic when this started (before my time on council).

I’m a convert as it really cuts back our rubbish volume each week and keeps the smelly scraps away from everything else.

We do compost but the kitchen scraps would overwhelm our compost bin. The kind of scraps that go in the bin are also the kind that attract vermin if put into the compost.
